Hispanic Heritage Month is an annual celebration of the history and culture of the U.S. Latinx and Hispanic communities. This event, which spans from September 15 to October 15, commemorates and celebrates the many ways that these communities have influenced and contributed to American society at large. The vibrant influence of Latino culture can be seen throughout so many aspects of the American culture, including the everyday foods that we enjoy (tacos and tortillas), the cultural celebrations that we've embraced (like piñatas!), the music that we vibe to (artists like Shakira and JLo and genres like bachata, merengue, and reggaeton).
